UrBC, Chelyabinsk, November 25, 2015. Students of South Ural State University were awarded Ya.P. Osadchiy Fund scholarships at Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant today. The solemn ceremony traditionally took place at Vysota 239, one of the plant’s actual production sites.

‘ChTPZ Group assigns Yakov Osadchiy Fund scholarships to most gifted students for the 15th time this year. Most of the fellows are employed with our company already, they can be found in the most important production departments, including Vysota 239. ChTPZ now hosts another facility which, like Vysota 239, lives by the rules of White Metallurgy: our plant Eterno that produces stamped pieces for pipelines. We need active, competent skilled workers and engineers with progressive ways of thinking and self-confidence. This is who you are bound to become when you graduate, and you will be welcome to grow professionally with us. I congratulate you on the award and wish you every success in life. Come and work for us!’ said ChTPZ BOD Chairman Alexander Fedorov.

Fourth-year students from Physics & Metallurgy Department Artem Bubnov, Leonid Dolinsky, Izalia Makfuzova, and Dmitri Grigoriev will now receive 2,5000 RUR a month for a year.

‘Thank you for your faith in us, I feel deeply honored. I’ve been on an internship program at ChTPZ Testing Center twice and had a chance to carry out experiments, do some metal testing, and assess pipe quality under my mentors’ supervision. I really liked everything about the plant: the working conditions, the way the employees are treated, and the team. I want to be a White Metallurgist after I get my degree,’ Izalia Makfuzova said.
