July 9, 2013. The trainees studying under ChTPZ Group corporate training program called the Future of White Metallurgy presented themselves very successfully at the WorldSkills International-2013, a blue-collar jobs contest in Leipzig, Germany, on July 7. Students from Pervouralsk Metallurgical Vocational School Alexander Litvinenko and Artur Islamov were among the strongest in the Mechatronics category and got the 19th place out of 33, ChTPZ Group's press service reports.

'This is Russia's breakthrough debut in the most prestigious international blue-collar jobs contests that are held biannually and attract thousands of young people from all over the world. The contest has been held for the 42nd time this year. Russia was represented by 15 young men and women who demostrated their qualifications along 14 different specializations. The mechatronics experts showed some of the best results in the national team,' the press release says.

'I believe that this a very good beginning that the Urals' students made in this high-profile contest. The first prizes went to the traditional leaders: Brazil, Norway, Taiwan, and Germany. Russian mechatronics experts outstripped contestants from Canada, the U.S., and France. This was a terrific sort of experience for our teams, for Russia, for our company, and for ChTPZ Group,' says Director of Festo Didaktic-Russia (a partner of ChTPZ educational project) Andrei Shpitov.
