ChTPZ Group Sponsors Russia’s First Mechatronics Championship in Pervouralsk

January 17, 2013. WorldSkills Russia, the country’s first mechatronics championship, supported by ChTPZ Group, will be held in Pervouralsk. WorldSkills is an international movement aimed at popularizing blue-collar jobs through professional skills contests around the world, the company’s press service says.
Russia’s first championship will take place on the premises of ChTPZ Group’s education center in Pervouralsk, with some help from the Russian Education & Science Ministry and the Strategic Initiatives Agency.
The country’s strongest teams will take part in the event, including those from Moscow Energy Institute, Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University, D.F. Ustinov Voyenmech Baltic State Technical University, Magnitogorsk Polytechnic School, Surgut Vocational School, and Ozersk Vocational School. Sverdlovsk Region will be represented by students of Pervouralsk Metallurgical School, who won in the Moscow mechatronics championship. An international expert Michael Linn has been invited to work as a judge in the Russian round of the contest. The winners will make it to Russia’s national team and will join the WorldSkills World Championship in Leipzig, Germany, in July 2013, ChTPZ press release states.
