12 April 2013 (10:13)

April 12, 2013. Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Mikhail Yurevitch paid a business visit to Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ). He looked into the state of affairs at the enterprise and checked some new vehicles. He was accompanied by the enterprise’s head Sergey Golygin, Deputy Director-General Andrei Sentyabov, and Director for Design Development & Technologies Valeriy Kostyuchenko, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.

Yurevitch was shown all the promising projects the plant undertook in the year of its 80th anniversary. An ad hoc exhibition featured the B-11 bulldozer – the make that has come to replace the B-10 series. The designers built in the joystick control option there. The consumers who are interested in a vehicle that is easy to manage but is good value for money can use the make with the elastic coupling instead of the costly fluid converter.

The tractor manufacturers also displayed their forestry unit with different kinds of attachable options like the plough, the pusher, and the mulcher that are meant for protecting the forests from fires and for restoring the logging sites. The BKK-2 compactor is another new product meant for the large solid waste landfills. The vehicle’s first sample was bought by a customer from the CIS. The second sample is now being manufactured and will be presented at STT 2013 exhibition in Moscow for the first time.
