May 31, 2013. The first sample of the new series-produced BKK-2 compactor made by ChTZ-Uraltrac (a member of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) that is meant for solidifying consumption waste at the municipal landfills has started operating in Rustavi, Georgia, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press office reports.
The make that the Russian customers haven’t had a chance to get acquainted with yet was exported right away through ChTZ Armenian dealer Galoper. BKK-2 was chosen in the course of a tender where the tractor plant competed with BOMAG, the world’s leading producer of compacting road vehicles.
The machine was delivered first to Armenia and then to the Georgian communal housing services sector workers in two vans, in the disassembled mode. The vehicle was received at the site by the Rustavi Council and the European Bank representatives; in fact, the latter provided the money for the purchase. ChTZ experts were sent to Georgia to get the machine assembled and commissioned and to train the local operators.
