February 21, 2013. ChTPZ Group directed 724m RUR to the implementation of CSR programs in Chelyabinsk and Pervouralsk last year, the company’s press service reports.

In addition to the obligatory welfare benefits and payments that the Russian law states employers must pay, the workers of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant were offered an additional benefits package which included medical insurance (with services provided by the company’s medical unit), non-state retirement insurance, and vacation and healthcare options (available through the health resorts and children’s sports camps operated by the company). The pipe manufacturing enterprise’s workers have every chance to do sports and indulge in creative activities: every year, the company allocates quite a sum for the development of hobby clubs and sports facilities located in the two cities. ChTPZ management would like to encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle, so up-to-date fitness clubs were opened in Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant’s administrative buildings: thanks to this, the employees can now stay in good shape.

‘A stable social benefits package is one of the most important factors in building a professional and responsible team. In 2013, we are planning to invest as much in the CSR as last year,’ says ChTPZ stockholder and BOD Chairman Alexander Fedorov.
