Uralvagonzavod Makes 11.5bn RUR Worth of Goods in October

November 9, 2012. Uralvagonzavod, the head office of UVZ Corporation, came up with a staff performance report for October. All the plans for this month were fulfilled in full, UVZ Corporation’s press service reports.
The company produced 11.5bn RUR worth of goods in October and 77.8bn RUR worth of goods since the beginning of the year. These figures are actually 16.1% higher than a year earlier. The sales revenues reached 5.5bn RUR in October and 72.8bn RUR in the ten months of 2012; the expected ROS for October is 19%.
The company manufactured 2,381 vehicles last month and 23,308 vehicles since the beginning of the year. October’s output included 1,800 gondola cars, 561 cisterns, 20 logging trucks, and 6 dump cars. The company’s production output rose by 7.2% in ten months of 2012 against a year earlier. The fulfillment of the government’s defense produce order is being done in strict compliance with the schedule.
In November 2012, this Nizhniy Tagil-based enterprise expects to manufacture 2,370 railway vehicles, including 1,800 gondola cars (1,700 of them the well-known 12-132 Series and 100 innovational 12-196 ones). Also, 550 cisterns, 20 logging trucks, and 13 dump cars will be made.
Says Vladimir Roschupkin, Uralvagonzavod’s Executive Director:
‘We coped with all the tasks for October, and our entire Uralvagonzavod team is to thank for this. There is only a little time left before the end of the year and, judging by our production rate, I am positive that we’ll meet both the November and the annual plans.’
