October 31, 2012. Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s daughter company UBT-Uralvagonzavod is now sponsoring the 25th All-Russian basketball tournament dedicated to the USSR Master of Sports A.E. Kandel. The tournament is held in Nizhniy Tagil on October 27-November 2, 2012, the Corporation’s press officer reports.

Ural Heavy-Duty Vehicles- Uralvagonzavod (UBT-Uralvagonzavod) donated 150,000 RUR to the Nizhniy Tagil-based basketball club Old Sable. The club offered its gym for the games and coordinated the contest.

Teams of male (aged 12-11) and female (aged 14-13) teenagers from different cities of Russia are taking part in this 25th A.E. Kandel All-Russian basketball tournament. Nizhniy Tagil is represented by the teams of Old Sable and Sport School No. 4.
