Railway Vehicles Manufacturers to Look into Industry’s Prospects at a Conference in Yekaterinburg

October 23, 2012. The 6th Interregional Conference coordinated by the Railway Vehicle Manufacturers, a non-profit partnership, will take place in Yekaterinburg on November 1-2. The conference will be dedicated to Transport Machine-Building: Quality as the Guarantee of Russian Railway Vehicles’ Safety and Reliability, says Sinara Group’s PR Center.
The conference will be chaired by the partnership’s President Valentin Gapanovitch. The event is supposed to be attended by the representatives of the federal authorities, Sverdlovsk Region Government, and Russian Railways and by heads of the partnership member enterprises. Sverdlovsk Region delegation is expected to be chaired by Governor Evgeny Kuivashev and the region’s Prime Minister Denis Pasler.
The agenda of the conference covers a round table discussion on the cooperation prospects for the partnership member enterprises and other regional industrial enterprises and the signing of a cooperation agreement between Sverdlovsk Region Government and Railway Vehicle Manufacturers Non-Profit Partnership.
The conference participants will talk about the prospects of Russian machine-building after the country has joined the WTO, the part that industry plays in the technical regulation system of Russia, Byelorussia, and Kazakhstan’s Custom Union, and issues related to ensuring the quality of railway machine-building. Some of the talks will be devoted to new kinds of produce, efficient production solutions, and innovations that are currently being developed or launched.
