Rospotrebnadzor: Number of Complaints about Communal Housing Services Is Still High

Sverdlovsk Region dwellers keep complaining to Sverdlovsk Region division of Rospotrebnadzor about the poor quality of communal housing utilities services, the press office of Sverdlovsk Region division of Rospotrebnadzor reports.
As for Yekaterinburg, most complaints have to do with SverdlovEnergoSbyt, Standard Management Company, Verkh-Isetskaya Management Company, UZhK Ural-ST, Oktyabrsky District Communal Housing Services Management Company, Fond Radomir, Zheleznodorozhny District REMP Management Company, REMP Elmash Management Company, Ordzhonikidzevsky District Housing Management Company, and Chkalovskaya Management Company.
As for Verkhnyaya Pyshma, most complaints have to do with City Service and SverdlovEnergoSbyt.
‘The number of local citizens’ complaints about the communal housing services is not going down,’ the agency reports.
Residents complain about the lack of necessary and accurate information about the services offered, including the rates; the unmotivated refusal to sign an apartment building management contract; failure to accurately use the data of the metering devices when drawing up bills; failure to draw up the bills on time; the hot water that is not hot enough; unreasonable charges for the maintenance of the house intercom; unsatisfactory maintenance of public spaces; refusal to do the recalculations when the quality of services is only poor; the refusal to test the quality of services or write up an examination protocol; and failure to meet the deadlines for meeting the customers’ demands.
