Preparations for the Football National League Season 2012/2013 are nearly complete at Yekaterinburg Central Stadium. The main challenge was improving on the quality of the football pitch.
‘Throughout the entire month, our experts kept working on the lawn, added some mineral fertilizers, sawed new seeds, and watered and mowed the grass regularly,’ says the stadium’s Director-General Vadim Vorobyev.
‘What is more, new turf was laid onto some parts of the pitch, with problem spots replaced with new sections. Thanks to all these jobs, our lawn is now in the pink of condition and is fully prepared for the new season.’
Ural Club footballers have already tested the pitch during an outdoor practice session that took place at Central Stadium on June 29.
