Yekaterinburg Central Stadium to be ready for Russian Cup, Football Union says

Central Stadium in Yekaterinburg will be completely prepared for the Russian Cup final on May 9, head of Russian Football Union’s PR Departmetn Nikolai Komarov told R-Sport.
Nevertheless, some media announced earlier that the poor condition of the lawn at the stadium might make it necessary to transfer the match to another city.
‘Russian Football Union is puzzled by the media announcements regarding the alleged transfer of the Russian Cup final game between male teams from Yekaterinburg to another Russian city. We definitely do not confirm this news. Moreover, we are positive that the Yekaterinburg stadium’s mall will be absolutely ready for such an important football event,’ RIA Novosti quotes Komarov as saying.
The final game will be played by Moscow’s Dynamo and Kazan’s Rubin.
