Formica Won’t Get Any More Funding for Innoprom, Governor Kuivashev Says
13 June 2012 (09:47)
Governor of Sverdlovsk Region is going personally to supervise the spending of funds allocated for the organization and coordination of the Ural International Exhibition/Forum Innoprom 2012.
‘The money must be spent expediently,’ Evgeny Kuivashev said in answer to the reporters’ questions during a fair preparation briefing.
‘One shouldn't change horses in midstream, so it will be the same company that did it before that will keep on preparing for this grand event. One should be aware that there is no time left to look for a new contractor. So my job as a Governor is to control the spending, given especially the fact that no increases in the amount allocated for the exhibition are to be expected,’ the Governor explained.
The company organizing the exhibition is last year’s Formica.
