Formica: Maksimov Leaving Sverdlovsk Region Government Won’t Affect Innoprom

18 May 2012 (09:17)

The fact that the curator of the international exhibition Innoprom Mikhail Maksimov has left Sverdlovsk Region Government is not going to affect the exhibition performance in any way whatsoever, President of Formica Management Company (the exhibition coordinator) Maxim Zverkov told UrBC.

Now Sverdlovsk Region’s Investment & Development Minister Mikhail Maksimov left the region: he was appointed First Deputy Head of Mayor of Moscow Administration & Government.

‘This is not the first year the exhibition has been held. This is why we have very few difficult issues to work with. The last fair was quite trouble-free: the sales of exhibition premises were good, and the fair aroused a lot of interest. We are now working virtually on our own and independent of the authorities. This is why Maksimov’s leaving is not going to affect our performance. I do not see any risks in this. We are working under the government contract, and we must fully fulfill this contract, and we have no apprehensions in this respect,’ Zverkov said.

Formica Management Company won Sverdlovsk Region’s tender for the organization and implementation of Ural International Industry & Innovations Forum/Exhibition Innoprom 2012. This government contract amounted to 100m RUR.

The fair is expected to open on July 12, 2012.
