Siemens Delegation Comes to Sinara’s Lyudinovsky Locomotive Plant

The representatives of the world’s leading railway machinery producer Siemens AG paid a visit to Lyudinovsky Locomotive Plant (an asset of Sinara Transport Machines). These were: Executive Director of Rail Transport Systems Department and Vice President of Siemens AG Hans-Jorg Grundmann, the Director-General of the Locomotives & Component Parts Division and of the Rail Transport Systems Department in Siemens AG Karl-Hermann Klausekker, head of the Desiro RUS Project David Jon, and Director of the Locomotives & Component Parts Division in OOO Siemens (Russia) Rolf Epstein. The delegation was accompanied by Sinara Group President Dmitri Pumpyansky, First Deputy DG and Sinara Group Executive Director Evgeny Gritsenko, Sinara Transport Machines BOD Chairman Sergey Papin, Sinara Transport Machines Director-General Vladimir Melnikov, and the Director-General of Lyudinovsky Locomotive Plant Igor Senichenkov.
The visitors looked at the plant’s main departments, got acquainted with the performance of the plant’s production and technological set of facilities, and paid a visit to the assembly shop where the entire range of the company’s locos could be seen. The visit also included a meeting dedicated to a presentation on the activity of all of Sinara Transport Machines’ divisions, from the development of new kinds of locos to their launch to their maintenance.
The meeting attendees also spoke about the issues relating to Siemens and Sinara Transport Machines’ cooperation in the field of applying Siemens technologies to the production of locos at Lyudinovsky Locomotive Plant.
