Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) and Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) held a coordination meeting dedicated to the two companies’ strategic cooperation. The meeting participants looked into and discussed the ways of protecting their intellectual property that had been created in the course of the two enterprises’ cooperation, agreed on the members of the joint work team, and spoke about their future plans. The meeting resulted in the creation and adoption of a strategic competitive advantage improvements program that is aimed at providing the O&G sector with the high quality pipes for the new and existing pipelines.

‘This kind of cooperation proves that we are customer-oriented companies; under these coordination committees, our experts are working on the improvements in the quality of our produce, on increasing the lifespan of the pipelines, and on creating new metal properties. First and foremost, this is done in order to meet the ever-growing needs of the oil and gas companies, that is, the key LDP consumers,’ says ChTPZ Engineering Director-General Ruben Gazparyants.
