MMK METIZ’s Electrode Quality Certified
20 February 2012 (09:58)
The National Agency for Control and Welding (NAKS) conducted a certification procedure for the OZS-4 and MR-3 electrodes manufactured by MMK METIZ (a member of MMK Group) at the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012.
At the end of the certification procedure, certificates confirming the quality of the said products were issued to the manufacturer. The certification means MMK METIZ can now sell its Type E46 OZS-4 and MR-3 electrodes (diameter of 3.0 and 4.0 mm) bearing NAKS Compliance Sign, the company’s press service reports.
The Sign is meant to inform the customer that the produce complies with the requirement RD03-613-03 Order of Using Welding Materials for Manufacturing, Assembling, Repairing, and Building Technical Equipments for Hazardous Production Facilities.
The certified electrodes are intended for manual arc welding of carbon steel and low-alloyed steel structures.
