Akademicheskiy to Become Yekaterinburg’s 8th District

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 27, 2020. Yekaterinburg authorities keep working on making Akademicheskiy the city’s 8th administrative district. The locals are expected to vote on the name of the new district in May. The housing developer RSG-Akademicheskoye (KORTROS Group’s member enterprise) keeps putting up new living quarters in the area as well as building the social infrastructure facilities there.

Such was the update made during an online session that KORTROS Group’s top managers took part in. The session was moderated by CFO at KORTROS Group Filipp Tretyakov; head of ARCHINFORM and Yekaterinburg’s Senior Architect in 2015-2017 Timur Abdullaeyv gave a talk as an invited speaker. Abdullaeyv spoke about his vision of the project and District Akademicheskiy’s meaning for Yekaterinburg; he also commented on the project’s strong points and the unique opportunities that this comprehensive area development project opens up.

According to Filipp Tretyakov, Akademicheskiy is both KORTROS Group’s largest-scale comprehensive area development project and one of Russia and Europe’s largest construction projects. The developer is currently working on Quarters Blizky, Eleven, and Devyaty; all the construction jobs are being completed on schedule. The housing developer RSG-Akademicheskoye intends to meet its contractual obligations for the year 2020 in time and in full.
