Yekaterinburg: 78 Patients, Doctors Possibly COVID-19 positive at Clinic 1

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 21, 2020. 78 patients and doctors at Yekaterinburg Clinic 1 have preliminarily tested positive for COVID-19, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev announced via his Instagram account on April 20, 2020.
According to what is known so far, the patients and doctors got the virus from a medical professional, who, in their turn, got it from a neighbor.
‘The situation is under control, as most of the suspected COVID-19 carriers show no symptoms and feel fine. Only one patient is in critical condition at the moment. The entire clinic has been quarantined,’ the Governor wrote.
According to the Governor, the medical professionals from the infectious disease ward will be self-isolating at Yekaterinburg hotels.
