Hauler welcomes new clients

A meeting on freight companies and railway carriage owners’ cooperation was organized in Yekaterinburg recently.

Deputy General Director of First Freight Company (OAO PGK) Vladimir Sosipatorov reported the organization had been providing haulage services for various companies throughout the entire operation field of Russian Railways for three years already.

‘Our haulage output reached 300 million this year, and we could do even better,’ he said.

‘We are currently suffering from a shortage of some carriage types, so our contract-signing preferences are normally based on economic expediency and the customer record. At the moment, we provide over 470 shippers based in the Mid-Urals with the carriages they need. We are also willing to welcome new customers, but it isn’t always possible to fulfill their order on the same day. After all, our company only manages 25% of all the open-top wagons within the existing network. We get back to these orders as soon as we have the carriages available. We certainly do not refuse to sign any contracts, we are totally open for cooperation,’ Sosipatorov observed.
