Bank Monetniy Dom’s new office opened at 37 Vosmoye Marta St. in Yekaterinburg on December 26, 2008. The ceremony was attended by all of the bank’s management, including Chair of the Supervisory Board Elena Nesterova, as well as the company’s partners and customers.

The inspiration behind the introduction of the new office was the bank’s strategy aimed at becoming one of Ural Federal District’s Top 5 in five years. This is Bank Monetniy Dom’s 13th office located in Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk Region and the first one launched under the new brand.

‘We feel it’s really important to set up more multi-purpose offices capable of rendering high quality services in the city’s most important districts. Our new outlet offers the customers a full range of banking services: a 24/7 ATM, money orders, a cash terminal, an assortment of appealing deposit offers for private individuals, and many options for entrepreneurs and entities willing to open a settlement account,’ said CEO Subsidiary 6601 Evgeniy Esselevitch.

‘We’ve opened a new office in a spacious, well-furnished modern office. Vosmoye Marta St. is a place where a lot of our strong rivals run their offices as well. We hope, however, that Bank Monetniy Dom will win its place in our customers’ hearts,’ Elena Nesterova noted.

Bank Monetniy Dom is the first bank to introduce a totally new customer service strategy and a unique corporate style resulting from a re-branding campaign. For one, the clerks and the customers can actually sit at the same table.

The decision to give the bank its new name and make the changes to this extent in the company’s Charter was made on July 23, 2008 in the course of an extraordinary general meeting. The bank came to be officially called Bank Monetniy Dom on December 15, 2008.

The bank reports this new name was a logical and long-awaited developmental step.

‘We are a stable provincial bank, and in order to retain this stability, the stockholders’ professional and responsible approach to the business’s development strategy and goal-setting is needed. The change in the name was both a planned and a timely thing. We are proud to see our Mechel-Bank grow so much over the last four years. We are positive the new Bank Monetniy Dom will expand even more impressively and prove a dependable family bank for thousands of Ural dwellers,’ Chair of the Supervisory Board Elena Nesterova remarked.
