April 1, 2014. Four employees of Uralvagonzavod Corporation were awarded medals of the For Merit to the Fatherland Order (II Degree). The prestigious state awards were given to the corporation's head plant workers by Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh, the corporation's press service reports. Over thirty educational establishments from 11 different cities are going to take part in the second Sverdlovsk Region Worldskills Ural-2014 Championship, ChTPZ Group's press service reports. The championship is coordinated by an NGO called the Greater Eurasian University Complex which is a local coordination center for WorldSkills Russia in Sverdlovsk Region and which operates on the premises of Ural Federal University and ChTPZ Group. 32 educational establishments from 11 Russian cities applied to take part in the championship. April 1, 2014. The net loss of Uralmashzavod amounted to 3,052,667,000 RUR in 2013, which is 871,143,000 RUR more than in 2012, the issuer's annual accounting report states. The company's revenue decreased from 10,481,170,000 RUR in 2012 down to 7,179,381,000 RUR in 2013. For one, the revenues coming from the sales of automobiles and machinery reached 5,060,906,000 RUR in January-December 2013 against 7,417,848,000 RUR in January-December 2012.

April 1, 2014. MSA, Rimera Group's plant located in the Czech Republic, is going to deliver a set of pipeline accessories for Gazprom's Punginskoye underground gas storage facility, ChTPZ Group's press service reports. MSA is going to deliver over €10m worth of produce to Gazprom this year altogether. Following the first tender procedures, Rimera's MSA started making a large batch of pipeline accessories that comprises 535 ball valves with the diameter of 2” to 20”, Class 150-600. April 1, 2014. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ, a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation), started making a new kind of vehicles – tractive sections for TMV 2 carriages. The machine was originally designed as an alternative to the diesel-locomotive shunter. The section is meant to replace the shunter primarily on the railways operated by industrial enterprises and therefore to reduce spending on the transportation of carriages and putting together trains where keeping a locomotive and a loco team or renting the expensive machinery make no economic sense. The new mechanism can also be
