Rimera Group's Czech plant to deliver pipeline accessories for Gazprom

April 1, 2014. MSA, Rimera Group's plant located in the Czech Republic, is going to deliver a set of pipeline accessories for Gazprom's Punginskoye underground gas storage facility, ChTPZ Group's press service reports.
MSA is going to deliver over €10m worth of produce to Gazprom this year altogether. Following the first tender procedures, Rimera's MSA started making a large batch of pipeline accessories that comprises 535 ball valves with the diameter of 2” to 20”, Class 150-600. The accessories will be shipped in April and May 2014. All of the produce that is going to get delivered to Gazprom will be fitted with hydro-pneumatic drives.
The pipeline accessories that are made at Rimera Group's Czech plant are meant for Punginskoye underground gas storage facility located in Tyumen Region, near Yugorsk. The facility was launched in 1985, and Gazprom is now having it expanded from the current 2.5bn to 3.5bn m3 of natural gas. The project is expected to be completed in August 2017.
'Gazprom is definitely the largest customer of the Group's Czech division on the Russian market. Over the five-year period of partnership, MSA has delivered 5,500 pipeline accessories worth a total of €40m. This year, the two companies agreed on delivering over €10m worth of produce,' says MSA Executive Director and Chairman of the Board Vladimir Kononov.
