URSA Bank gets new management

The meeting of URSA Bank’s Board of Directors took place in Yekaterinburg on February 1, 2007. In the course of the meeting, general director Kirill Brell finalized the recent merger of Uralvneshtorgbank and SibAcademBank by announcing the names of the new bank’s management.

Deputy GD and Member of the Board Svetlana Mironova is going to become CEO URSA Bank in the Urals. Prior to this appointment, Ms Mironova used to supervise SibAcademBank’s division dealing in services to businesses. Before this, she had been running Kuzbasskiy, the bank’s largest subsidiary based in Kemerovo. Executive officer and Member of the Board Revaz Bukhradze, who has a lot of experience in subsidiary network developing, is to focus on the extension and supervision of the office network of URSA Bank in the Urals. Former directors of URSA Bank’s Omsk- and Novokuznetsk-based subsidiaries Vadim Manin and Alexei Sannikov will now work as directors of URSA Bank in the Urals.

URSA Bank is Russia’s fifth largest bank in terms of subsidiary network development; its net wealth amounted to over 104 billion RUR on January 1, 2007, its capital to 12.5 billion RUR, reports the bank’s press officer.
