Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhniy Tagil introduces School of Managing Director

Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhniy Tagil (part of Evraz Group) has recently introduced the School of Managing Director. There has been selected a group of special students who are actually the company’s middle level managers to be trained in order to get top managerial qualifications. The members of this team were selected on the basis of special tests and references provided by the leading experts and departmental directors. This training workshop came to be known as the School of Managing Director.

Over the next two years, these potential top executives will have to master the top managerial skills, basics of economic disciplines and computer technologies; they will train off the job in the company’s Personnel Development Department as well as in a number of Russian education centers. The program also provides for internships at some enterprises located in Russia and the EU, with individual program designed for every student. The final papers will have to be presented in English, and, after the course is completed, these managers will be offered to follow their career in the enterprises of Evraz Group.

‘We have to raise the new generation of highly professional managers, as the issue of personnel has always been the most important one for production development and introduction of new technologies. I believe in these young people and I hope they will join the team of Russia’s best managers. We, on our part, we’ll try and do everything we should in order to make it happen,’ the Managing Director of Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhniy Tagil Alexei Kushnarev said at the school’s opening ceremony, reports the spokesperson for Evraz Group.
