Renova Stroy Group to put up new 700-hectare residential area in Sosnovskiy District of Chelyabinsk Region
15 November 2006 (13:50)
Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Petr Sumin met President of Renova Stroy Group Veniamin Golubitskiy and the company’s General Director Viktor Maslakov in Chelyabinsk today to discuss the upcoming fulfillment of the construction project known as the Sun Valley in the suburb of Chelyabinsk.
According to Mr Golubitskiy, the project provides for putting up a 700-hectare residential area in Sosnovskiy District of Chelyabinsk Region (the village of Noviy Kremekul) within 12 kilometers to the north-west of the center of Chelyabinsk (this is currently the main direction of the town planning). The area is situated within the boundaries of Chelyabinsk orbital highway and is adjacent to Kalininskiy District of Chelyabinsk.
Sun Valley project is scheduled for over 4m square meters of dwellings as well as the electricity and heat generating facilities to be put up for the specific purposes of the district only.
The new residential area will be located in one of the most environmentally unaffected places in Chelyabinsk Region, by the shore of Lake Kremenkul, with the new Kremenkulskaya highway providing transport link to the center of the city. Sun Valley will be built in full compliance with the environmental, construction, and convenience and comfort requirements; it will also fit in the large-scale modernization program developed for the already existing urban districts as all the construction is based on the most advanced global experience in the field of building technologies.
The Governor’s meeting with the executives resulted in a cooperation agreement between the authorities of Chelyabinsk and Chelyabinsk Region and Renova Stroy Group. ‘We received the general approval of the regional and town councils, and the major agreement will probably be signed by the Region, the investor, and the representatives of RosStroy within a week, to be followed by the discussion of the details,’ said Mr Golubitskiy.
