Ural Airlines set up 30 booking offices

3 November 2006 (12:54)

Around thirty retail outlets of EuroSet, the mobile phone trader, started dealing in selling and booking tickets for Ural Airline flights on November 1, 2006. Prior to this, buying a ticket in the mobile phone shop was only available to residents of little Ural towns (for instances, for people living in Polevskoy, Artemovskiy, Kackanar, Miass, Snezhinsk, etc.). The outlets of EuroSet in Yekaterinburg were selected based on the geographical criterion: the air carrier wanted its offices to be located in all of the city’s districts. The second criterion consisted in the long working hours of the store.

Approximately 100 employees of EuroSet have been trained to deal with the ticketing routines; the training has taken 6 hours per person; it now will take the client between 5 and 15 minutes to book or buy the ticket.

‘We are trying to make the ticket buying procedure as simple and convenient for the client as possible. This is why we introduced the home and office delivery and set up an e-office in 2006. For those who are not emotionally prepared to deal with online technologies yet, we organized plenty of ticket offices in EuroSet. A ticket for the Ural Airlines flight is now available all over the place,’ says the company’s Commercial Director Kirill Skuratov.
