United Machine Building Works sets up wide spread light hydrocarbon storage facility for SurgutNefteGaz

United Machine Building Works–Oil and Gas Projects (aka Izhorsk Works and part of United Machine Building Works) of Saint Petersburg has completed the fulfillment of the contract signed with SurgutNefteGaz, the oil producer of Surgut, for the delivery and full assembling of 24 600-cubic meter gasholders meant for storing wide spread light hydrocarbons. The contract was negotiated in the spring of 2005 and was worth around 340m RUR.

United Machine Building Works–Oil and Gas Projects/Izhorsk Works is one of today’s largest Russian suppliers of equipment for storing wide spread light hydrocarbons. It delivered such facilities to Kazanorgsintes of Kazan in 2006 and signed a contract for the delivery of 9 600-cubic meter spherical gasholders with TolkynNefteGaz of Kazakhstan in October 2006. The equipment will be delivered in compliance with the ASME standards (section VIII part 2). This contract is worth over 120m RUR and is to be fulfilled in 2007.
