5 September 2006 (12:50)

Starting September 1, 2006, ChelyabEnergoSbyt, the regional electricity suppler, will supply less electricity to Chelyabmeliovodhoz, the federal enterprise, due to debt.

As the spokesperson for ChelyabEnergoSbyt said to UrBC representative, they had to stop the supply to the debtor’s pump houses and wells located in their Oktyabrskiy subsidiary altogether in June and July. Prior to this, the company was deprived of electricity on a daily 8 AM to 5 PM basis. Right now it owes the supplier 188, 700 RUR (considering both the budgetary and the non-budgetary contracts).

The issue of debt became particularly acute when the payments were excluded from the budget of the village administration. As a result, the dwellers found themselves unable to pay extra money. The district council has been notified of the upcoming limitations of supply.
