Profit of Gora Yezhovaya ski resort expected to go down by 15-20%
4 April 2006 (10:00)
Mountain-skiing centers of Sverdlovsk Region are about to usher out the season for 2005/2006. ‘The mountain-skiing complex of Gora Yezhovaya is down since April 1, 2006. The weather conditions hinder us from further activity, and getting by with artificial snow is not advantageous. What is more, the demand for our services has gone down to nearly a zero,’ Deputy Director of Gora Yezhovaya complex Alexei Khvostov said to UrBC representative.
Meanwhile, Yezhovaya is summing up its success in the last skiing season. ‘Any definite conclusion concerning profitability of the season would be untimely. However, we expect that due to the adverse weather conditions our profit will go down by 15-20% against the previous season,’ Mr Khvostov indicated.
