Ural Turbine Works exhibits new combined-cycle plant at RUSSIA POWER 2006

On March 14, 2006, Ural Turbine Works CJSC (part of Renova Group) presented its new PGU-90 combined-cycle plant that is fully competitive with the world’s leading brands yet is more economical at the 4th annual international conferenceexhibition RUSSIA POWER 2006.

‘The Russian and global power engineering markets potential are extremely favorable for our company to become the key player in the field as Yekaterinburg is back in the vanguard of power machine building. Both our company and the current state policy as declared by the President are correspondingly oriented. The new combined-cycle plant meets all the demands of the present day power engineering and is a further step in the R&D by our specialists. Keeping up with the reputation of the Ural engineering school provided for by our strategy will definitely make it even more competitive in the future,’ said the company’s GD Vitaliy Nedelskiy.

The strategy up to 2009 includes increasing the fuel efficiency of gas turbines up to 34% and of steam-gas ones up to 50% via replacement and upgrading of the equipment. The new product is in full compliance with these needs and, more importantly, it can be installed in both the existing power plants and the future buildings.
