Yuzhno-Uralsky armaturno-izolyatorny zavod JSC (Yuzhno-Uralsk producer of reinforcement and insulators, YuAIZ) was visited by specialists of a representative company in mid-January. This company is going to present the production of YuAIZ on the Spanish market. Among the other guests were the representatives of Spanish certification center that is going to test customizability of YuAIZ insulators for Spanish power engineers.

The visit was preceded by YuAIZ Technical Director Vladimir Golovin visiting Spain. Mr Golovin contacted various companies engaged in transmission facilities building in different countries. The companies’ representatives expressed their willingness to cooperate with YuAIZ and participate with YuAIZ production in international tenders including those taking place in Spain. However, certification that meets the Spanish national standards is indispensable.

During their visit, the Spanish representatives chose some samples of YuAIZ insulators to test in Spain. The future cooperation depends on the results of the test, YuAIZ PR-department reports to UrBC representative.
