Operations of the Yuzhnouralsky Armaturno-Izolyatorny Zavod JSC (reinforcement and insulator producer of Yuzhouralsk) under its contract of supply to Iran in 2005 reach their final stage. The contract provides for the delivery of U-160 and U-210 insulators produced by the company.

The delivery is to be made in three shipments. Before their shipment, the insulators undergo a test attended by the Iranian consumer representatives. After the signing of the test report, the Iranian party issues a supply clearance.

The first shipment was delivered to Iran within the summer of 2005. At the end of February 2006, the company delivered the second shipment. At the moment, the outbond cargo is received by the consumer and is in the process of getting customs clearance.

Yuzhnouralsky Armaturno-Izolyatorny Zavod is now in the process of negotiating about the conditions and terms of the third shipment of glass insulators under the supply contract. The company expects to complete implementation of the contract by the summer of 2006.
