ChelPipe Group to Direct RUB 680m to Social Welfare Every Year

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 23, 2020. Director-General at ChelPipe Group’s pipe-manufacturing division Boris Kovalenkov and heads of Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) and Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) trade unions Sergei Oshurkov and Viktor Skryabin signed new Collective Agreements that will remain valid through 2023, ChelPipe Group’s press service reports.
Under the terms of the agreements, the Group will direct more than RUB 680 million to its social welfare programs every year.
‘Meeting all of its social welfare obligations and continuous improvements in the workers’ living standards and working conditions are ChelPipe Group’s top priorities. The social welfare packages set out in the Group’s earlier Collective Agreements have been delivered in full; the plan is to allocate the same amount of funding for the purpose in the coming years as well; this applies to personnel training programs, voluntary medical insurance, working conditions improvements, and other important programs, among other things,’ says Director-General at ChelPipe Group’s pipe-manufacturing division Boris Kovalenkov.
