Yekaterinburg to Get 9 New Low-Floor Buses

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 12, 2020. Yekaterinburg’s urban transit authorities are coordinating an auction to purchase nine passenger buses, the government purchase website states.
The opening bid has been set at RUB 102.6 million. Under the terms of the proposed purchase, all nine buses have to be low-floor ones and painted green. They also need to be fitted with air conditioning and CCTV appliances as well as 3G- and wireless-enabled communication/navigation terminals. The buses must be big enough for at least 25 seats and 90 standees and need to be produced before the end of this year.
The results of the auction will be announced on March 23, 2020, while the contract itself will have to be fulfilled within six months of the date it gets signed.
