UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 23, 2020. OOO FORES coordinated a company contest for the HR departments of its various branches, the company’s press service reports.
The first prize went to the employees of the company’s Asbest branch. They received a souvenir: ’a special bag of propping agents’ made from serpentinite.
‘We looked into the company branches’ performance in 2019, taking into account the proactive hiring policy for the blue-collar workers based in Sverdlovsk Region’s more remote locations, coordination of OOO FORES job fairs, and the number of workers the HR departments took on (as well as the number of workers who stayed),’ says HR Director at OOO FORES Ekaterina Druzhinina.
The company’s Asbest branch embarked on three large-scale projects last year: a mentoring program, training programs for engineers/line managers, and Skills Workshop.
‘Our experiment with mentorship, where experienced workers help the newcomers learn, is believed to be a success. The two other projects, focused on further professional development of specific employee categories, resulted in good outcomes as well,’ FORES says.
