OOO FORES’s Sukhoi Log Branch Improves Working Conditions at Repair Shop

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 21, 2020. OOO FORES’s Sukhoi Log branch upgraded six workstations for electric/gas welders at the plant’s Repair Department last year, the company’s press service reports.
The company invested about RUB 2.5m in the workplace improvements. The plant purchased new chairs and protection screens to create workstation partitions. Up-to-date elevating-and-traversing exhaust units were installed inside.
‘Sverdlovsk Region division of the federal consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor recommended upgrading the plant’s only (as it then was) electric/gas welder’s stationary workstation as early as in the summer of 2018. The company decided to do more that that: upgrade the existing workstation and introduce five more into the bargain. The entire project was completed on schedule, that is, by the end of 2019,’ the company says.
