ChelPipe Group Takes Part in WorldSkills Hi Tech

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 28, 2019. ChelPipe Group’s employees, students on the Group’s Future of White-Coated Metallurgy Corporate Training Program, and schoolchildren from the Training Center’s tech clubs will all take part in the 6th nationwide WorldSkills Hi Tech blue-collar job championship.
According to ChelPipe Group’s press service, the company team comprises 23 contestants and 19 experts; the former will compete in thirteen different categories in both the primary section and the Future Skills section. For the first time this year, the championship participants will compete in Recruitment and Job Safety. Five schoolchildren from ChelPipe Group-supported schools will compete in Juniors section.
The final round of the 1st All-Russian Worldskills 50 Plus Championship for workers in the 50+ age group will get coordinated as part of the general championship as well. Teacher on the Group’s Future of White-Coated Metallurgy Corporate Training Program Bulat Ibrayev will be representing ChelPipe Group there.
‘Worldskills Hi Tech is a platform for presenting the best blue-collar worker training practices. ChelPipe Group employees, students, and schoolchildren made it through a competitive selection round, completed high quality training both in class and on production sites, and are bound to do very well in the competition,’ says ChelPipe Group’s HR Director Alexander Luzhbin.
The championship will be held at Yekaterinburg Expo on October 28-November 1, with teams from thirty-nine Russian corporations, holdings, and industrial leaders joining in. 789 contestants will compete in forty-eight different categories; the judges’ panel comprises 450+ Russian and international experts.
