UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 2, 2019. EVRAZ Holding keeps supporting Uralets Children’s Sports School in Nizhniy Tagil. The company allocated RUB 350,000 for the school’s children’s martial arts project this year, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center reports.

The funds were used to buy certified sports equipment (helmets, foot fixtures, and gloves) so that the children could compete in international Tae Kwon Do and kickboxing competitions. Some of the money went to covering the young sports players’ competition-related travel.

‘Uralets player Semyon Vostrikov joined the Russian national team to compete in the European kickboxing championship in Hungary. Vostrikov made it to the finals this weekend and won the first prize in the 16-18 age group (weight category: 57 kg),’ the company says.

Uralets players are now training for the World Cup Diamond kickboxing championship in Anapa (scheduled for September 19-25, 2019).
