EVRAZ Directs 8.5m RUR to Kachkanar Schools

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 22, 2016. Kachkanar Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise/KGOK (part of EVRAZ Holding) directed over 8.5m RUR to repairs and remodeling of children’s schools and sports and arts and crafts clubs in Kachkanar, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s press office reports.
The local art school bought the needed supplies and equipment and had the primary engineering infrastructures and sanitary facilities replaced. A kindergarten and a school will soon undergo capital repairs. Also, money will be directed to equip science labs in a school in the small settlement of Is.
Additionally, EVRAZ funded gyms repairs in two sports schools, with new window frames and doors and fire alarm systems. Sports uniforms and equipment were purchased for the youngest teams of footballers.
The company also covers the sports players’ trips to various championships. This year, children from three local sports schools were offered the opportunity to compete in national sports contests.
