Ural Federal District: USD, Euro Deposits Shrink 17%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 12, 2019. RUB 34.5bn worth of USD/Euro deposits got set up by customers with Ural Federal District-based banks as of July 1, 2019; this was 17% less than six months previously, the Deposit Insurance Agency’s research findings indicate.
The share of private customers’ foreign currency deposits dropped by 1.7% in January-June 2019 and thus amounted to 7% of all bank deposits.
The share of ruble deposits, on the other hand, rose by 5% and amounted to RUB 464bn all in all.
