Novokuznetsk to Host Raspadskaya GunterCup 2019

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 12, 2019. EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company is going to coordinate a grand-scale sports event Raspadskaya GunterCup 2019 in Novokuznetsk; Russia’s leading basketball players and the band Quest Pistols Show will be contributing to the show.
According to Raspadskaya Coal Company’s PR Department, the event will take place at Arena Novokuznetsk on July 13. Workers from EVRAZ Consolidated West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ ZSMK), Sibuglemet, and Raspadskaya Coal Company, young sports players from Novokuznetsk’s children’s sports clubs, and the town locals are all invited to attend.
There will be a game played by the top national basketball players, a street ball championship where Siberia’s strongest teams will compete, a special performance by dunkers, and a children’s entertainment program.
Visitors to the event will see renowned sportsmen - three-time Russia and the world street ball champion Mikhail Gyunter, Europe’s basketball champion Nikolai Palius, and the Basketball Champions League champion Victor Keyru - at play. Nikita Morgunov, Novokuznetsk native, European championship winner and the silver winner of the world championship, will also make part of the star team.
