EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Companies Win 8th EVRAZ Cup

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 21, 2019. EVRAZ Holding’s 8th EVRAZ Cup football championship is now over in Kachkanar. EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center reports.
The first prize went to Raspadskaya Coal Company’s team; EVRAZ Kachkanarsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise’s team and EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant’s team won silver and gold, respectively.
‘Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant’s team competed with EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s team for the third prize. The former’s Alexander Zakhars was the first to score in the game; it was also Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant’s Alexander Shashukov who scored next. The Siberian team managed to score once in the final minutes of the game and had no chance of winning. Raspadskaya Coal Company’s team competed with EVRAZ Kachkanarsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise’s team for the first prize. Raspadskaya’s players scored twice and won the championship for the first time. The renowned MatchTV and NTV+ sports commentator Nobel Arustamyan commented on the finals online. At the end of the games, he interacted with the footballers and provided an autograph session. The final games were also live-streamed on Youtube and EVRAZ’s social media accounts,’ the company says.
The annual sports event took place in Kachkanar on August 11-18. Five teams (Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant, Kachkanarsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise, West-Siberian Integrated Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ Siberia), Raspadskaya Coal Company, and Sibuglemet (EVRAZ Mezhdurechensk Management Company)) competed in the championship.
