MMK, ETM Sign New Agreement

10 June 2019 (09:18)

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, June 10, 2019. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) and ETM signed a contract to have a set of electrotechnical equipment delivered to the former, MMK’s Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.

‘Under the terms of the agreement, MMK will place its order directly through ETM iPro Online Platform, which will save us plenty of time in the purchasing process and will improve the plant’s supply system greatly,’ the company says.

The agreement with one of Russia’s leading professional electrotechnical equipment distributors is valid through 2020. A separate discount has been offered to MMK and its daughter enterprises on the produce by every equipment manufacturer.

‘To complete the purchase, MMK divisions no longer have to go through the selection procedure or negotiate the technicalities, which means it only takes under twenty minutes to settle the specifications. When placing their order, the customer shop’s tech experts can already see the terms/time of delivery, which makes long-term scheduling of repairs and overhauls much easier,’ MMK says.

The agreement with ETM is part of MMK’s multi-aspect supply system improvement program. Among other things, the program covers switching to online shopping for direct, efficient, administration overheads-free delivery.
