According to the bank’s press service, their small business UBRD Light mobile app has been downloaded 20,000 times since it got launched in the summer of 2018 (and as many times in the forty-five days of Q2’19 as in the entire first quarter of the year).

‘The app is getting ever more popular with the arrival of the vacation season. Business owners and managers definitely deserve a break, but they still like to keep an eye on how their company is doing financially — even thousands of miles away,’ says UBRD Corporates Development Director Elena Sorvina.

Thanks to this mobile app, you can now run your business from literally anywhere: all the basic transactions can get completed on your smartphone. The business owner can check if their customers have paid for the product or service, for example, as well as make all kinds of payments and get a bank statement. Should your contractors require your bank details, you can email or text the necessary information with just one click.

‘Wherever you are on this planet and whichever time zone you are in, the app lets you keep track of your company’s finances 24/7 and keeps you in the know of how things are going at work,’ Sorvina says.

Most transactions only take a few minutes, as the app interface is very simple and intuitively clear. You can also go for the fingerprint identification (smartphone model permitting) to make a fast and secure access even easier.
