UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 6, 2019. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) updated the list of purchase categories that can result in 10% cashback paid into the UBRD Maximum card account.
According to the bank’s press service, on May 1-31, 2019 Maximum card holders will get 10% in cashback for using their card to pay for the following: gardening and summerhouse appliances; rail tickets (including e-tickets) and intercity bus/coach tickets; gasoline at filling stations; goods and services purchased at fitness studios. Every other purchase type also gives you the usual 1% cashback.
‘We update our enhanced-cashback purchase categories every three months. These are always the peak-seasonal-demand items, since we pay close attention to our customers’ spending behavior and see to it that their relevant needs are met,’ says UBRD Marketing Director Alexei Merzlyakov.
Another advantage of holding the UBRD Maximum card is that an interest is also paid on the amount of money you keep in your account. If there’s RUB 20,000 to RUB 350,000 sitting in your account, you get the annual interest rate of 7% if you spend more than RUB 12,000 in a given month and the annual interest rate of 4.75% if you spend less.
