UBRD Offers Cashback Options for Season’s Shopping

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 25, 2017. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) is introducing new, increased cashback options for its Visa Maximum cardholders; the cashback is available for a number of new seasonal items, the bank’s press service reports.
Under the terms of the cardholders’ debit card agreement, 1% off the money you spend shopping goes back to your account; the amount goes up to 10% if you buy the seasonal items.
Between November 1, 2017 and January 31, 2018, you can get 10% in cashback options when you use your card to pay at cafes and restaurants, for entertainment (including movies, children’s events, exhibitions and museums), and for household appliances (at electronic goods stores, for example).
‘The end of the year is the traditional time for holiday season’s shopping: people are planning office parties and making lists of presents to give. The long January break is the time for recreation outside the home. Since we understand our customers’ needs, we are launching new cashback categories to suit these needs; the categories are all selected based on the analysis of last year’s winter transactions,’ says UBRD Product Budgeting Director Vladimir Altakh.
What is more, Visa Maximum cardholders also get 5% annual interest rate on any card balance between RUR 20,000 and RUR 350,000; if a cardholder also uses their card for RUR 10,000 or more worth of transactions every month, the interest rate goes up to 7.5%.
