Volkswagen Recalls 4,300 Tiguan Units in Russia

18 December 2018 (09:35)

UrBC, Moscow, December 18, 2018. Volkswagen coordinated a program to recall 4,320 Volkswagen Tiguan units, Rosstandart reports.

The program will involve the automobiles sold in 2017 and 2018. It appears that moisture tends to gather in their LED modules, which might result in a short circuit and heat release.

Volkswagen Tiguan units will have to get fitted with two cable adjusters (one next to the driver’s seat and one next to the front passenger seat) with a built-in fuse between the power connection unit and the LED module in the glass panel that serves as the sliding sunroof.

All the adjustments will get done at no extra cost to the car owners.
