UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 12, 2018. Nineteen employees of ChelPipe Group’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) graduated from B.N Yeltsin Ural Federal University (UFU) with a degree in Pipe Manufacturing Technologies & Equipment this month.
According to the Group’s press service, an agreement between PNTZ and UFU ensures there are no tuition fees for the ‘white-coated metallurgists’, who can keep working throughout their study. More than a half of those who got their BSc. degrees on the program are alumni of ChelPipe Group’s Future of White-Coated Metallurgy Corporate Training Program who can go on studying within their workplace environment.
The solemn diploma-awarding ceremony took place at the Group’s Training Center. This year’s class is the second one of Bachelors of Science majoring in Metallurgy and Electric Engineering & Electric Appliances. The Group’s management and the university’s top officials all congratulated the graduates on their success.
‘This company is interested in having the people in managerial positions who are well educated, have actual production experience, and share our corporate culture values. This is why we did our best to make sure our best young workers can get a college degree without having to stop working. I’m positive that our new graduates will have new opportunities opening up for them and will be able to climb up yet another step of the corporate ladder,’ says PNTZ Managing Director Alexei Dronov.
