Sverdlovsk Region: 3,000 People Can’t Leave Country Due to Debt

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 9, 2018. Over 7,000 enforcement proceedings relating to unpaid capital housing repairs bills are currently being processed by Russia’s Federal Service of Court Officers’ Sverdlovsk Region division.
According to the division’s press service, 3,000 debtors won’t be able to travel abroad while their debts remain unpaid.
Another 2,500 people have been forbidden to sell or rent out their automobiles; most of the debtors had their bank accounts seized as well.
